I am not arguing, I am point to what he said is similar. Look at it this way: 50 lynchings per 100 equates to a percentage of 50%; 5 lynchings per 10 equates to the same percentage (50%).

Either way, the loss of the individuals involved is tragic. No need for an exaggeration.
