then why cant i day trade with a value of over 90k in my a-trade account??? because all the funds are held in non-marginable securities.

i had two heated phone calls with a-trade apex reps about this a few months back.

if the value ws cash or held in a marginable security the trade restriction would be lifted.

well see in a few weeks.....if you are correct, im going to be livid with a-trade because they f'd me again.
