Here's my take:

The first article talks much about "ETP" - paper gold.
And as we know many investors take their physical gold out of the paper market (Comex). For these so called "analysts" the Comex gold drain looks like "selling".
They confuse paper and physical gold.

The second is talking only about coins, physical gold.
