I don't do much with technical analysis, but I do like to place my buy and sell orders around previous support or resistance. When I looked at OCZ the other day, 1.80 was the next price level I saw.

I think you have the safer strategy, Greek, but I don't have enough cash to both trade OCZ and play it for a big run. I had to choose one or the other. I've opted to go for the home run.

News on the restatements could come at any time. I am expecting it before August 31. Since I don't know when, I don't want to be left out in the cold if it comes after hours some day in the next few weeks, when no one is expecting it.

I think the 7.00+ price from July, 2012, could be where we're headed. That assumes a lot of positive news on the restatements and sales, so I'm not saying it's a likely outcome. But I think the odds are good enough that I want to sit on some shares until I see the PR. We're only talking 6-7 weeks max.
