It seems that the Intel compiler was skipping unnecessary operations, which the Gcc generic compiler was performing. So Intel takes a hit for that ? Obviously the Intel compiler was correct since AnTuTu started using the Intel compiler for ARM as well. So Intel has to take the blame ! Yes the comparison was misleading, but that was not intentional on anyones part.
