Previous Intel leadership needs to be blamed for this messy situation. No, not for declining PC demand. But for being in denial mode for too long on declining PC demand, for betting heavily on PC revival, for taking too long to participate in new trends - and not there yet, for draining almost entire cash which could be a severe handicap going forward, etc.
Too early to blame the new leadership. But I suspect the new leadership is not a good choice either, but was possibly the best choice available.
