There's a DigiTimes article saying Haswell sales are lower than expected and thus Intel is offering tray SKUs with $20-30 lower pricing to entice customers.

Add that with the Antutu fiasco.

1. No wonder Haswell isn't selling. Desktop is a disappointment, Notebooks are not really better and the few Convertible Haswell Ultrabooks are at $1500. And its saying Intel expected Haswell to increase sales... no way with this strategy.

Again, any expected increase in revenue for Intel in 2013 has to come from elsewhere, like Servers.

2. The state of mobile benchmarking sucks, but what sucks more is that they, Intel potentially cheated on the benchmark and got caught. And Clover Trail+ seems no better than Medfield last year compared to competition. Cheating is not the way to go Intel.

Perhaps this is why some see Windows Tablets a better ground for them. Everything is already established.

Unannounced Asus Laptop featuring the U series Haswell, but Anand user review is saying 4.5-6 hours battery life: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2330296

That's about same as Ivy Bridge U generation. That's what I meant the amazing battery life you see in Haswell Ultrabooks won't propagate well down into cheaper Laptops, because every part used is extremely important in achieving that.
