Agreed they have power in the sense of theoretical ability, but not in the sense that they can put it in practice. They wiil only do what they are told. TB is there because Nemo put him there - he had no qualification as CEO. For reasons now revealed, Nemo seeks to obstruct the formation of any BOD before ll.15.13, and my own (misguided? perhaps... wdik? I will delightedly eat every word if I'm wrong) view is that we shall see nothing but prevarication about 'professional agency' etc. etc. until it is too late and the pirates swarm aboard. Action is needed urgently but it has to come from somewhere other than current management. All strength to those trying to find an effective exit from the trap! ex.
