Newman Investments, 10.5% holder in LAS, has Weimin Yin representing them as a Director on LAS board.

Weimin Yin is partner in Tongley Investments Ltd, 10.5% holder of ALN.

Neither firm is known for much activity in other US listed China stocks.

Just making connections- I believe Tongley is part of the SPV being created for ALN privatization.
