Cute idea, hope it works. Sort of sounds like if MRAM doesn't get thru the vaporware stage, other technologies will eat their lunch. I've always wondered why someone couldn't come up with a CDROM type of instant on memory. My understanding is that the bits are encoded in the plastic. The laser just reads them out. In a dedicated system, the ROM wouldn't have to spin or anything.
