Prior to the Counsel's vote last night, former DC mayor Marion Barry said the Counsel would not be bullied by W-M. It seems W-M picked the wrong town to bully - now they either have to walk away from 3 DC sites under construction and 3 planned sites for DC, or look like fools for misjudging who they can push around and who they can't push around.
Of course knowing Marion Barry's past, I wouldn't say it's over for W-M in DC.
