Last night DC's City Counsel voted not to be pushed around by retail giant WAL-MART...we'll see if WM now halts construction on 3 of their sites and stops plans to build 3 more in the District, as they had threatened.
It amazes me people are not outraged at W-M for pushing the healthcare cost for their p/t employees onto the Am public via our taxes - and shop at W-M just to save $.02 on crap from countries who pay their workers >$1.00/day.
