The fact is: Crusoe’s CMS is not “just a JIT compiler,” which is what you called it in #4601. The CMS also optimizes at run time by deciding which translated instructions to cache and which to discard after executing. That’s a rather significant distinction from your run-of-the-mill JIT compiler.
