I am using 3/4 foam/foil board insulation on the back and sides and I am stripping the glass out of some old sliding glass doors (you can get it cheap at salvage yards) I have repaired units like this that were store bought for water heaters and here in Florida on a Sunny day the water coming out of one of these will scald you real bad... You have to remember to install a pressure relief valve also...
