I think if anyone is able to look at both sides of the situation their view has merit. When something great happens and it is "just a carrot" then a view is one sided and can not be relied upon.
I agree with your take on the situation but I dont agree with your timing.
Kim needs money to produce. That is no secret. To get that cash he needs as good a share price as possible. The silent period was costing us shares. So kim did the right thing to not continue the quiet period. The PR is plainly saying that they were in a quiet period to sooth the shareholders that were being told relentlessly that the silence was not the S-1.
In that same PR was a warning to people who hold shares that another silent period MUST happen.
If the PR we got is the only PR we get that is the only intent of the PR.
There is no way Kim could make a deal with preferred shares if he did not S-1 the preferred.
So there is a delay but the shareholders know why as well.
I think we will get more but I dont know if it will be what everyone wants so quickly.
If you had the worms how would you get to the point of shipping day in and day out?
This is the one thing that is always missing in this part of the story.
People say "Kim sucks. He is doing it wrong" But they always lack the "proper" way to do it as well.
I have tried this. Take the time to try to figure out the steps it takes from having a couple of silk worms on Jan 1 2011 to having just 1 ton a month produced today. Include just guesses for costs etc. for all the needed facilities and how long would it take you? 1 ton = about 1M worms.
I dont care how you do it. Every estimate I come up with is either billions in dilution or years of work. I cant get my estimates under 5 years. Kim has had 2.5 years.
They also once ridiculed a guy for saying he could make silkworms spin spider silk and sell it.
