To be honest, I don't have the answer Steph but I'll check it out - perhaps I'll find that if the U.S. agreed with the military coup, we turned a blind eye...but if U.S. law mandates we withdraw aid where there is a military coup, I'll ask you if we should ignore the law?...And if we ignore it, what other laws should we ignore?
