I'd hate to think what it is costing them in interest payments on the debt. They are just keeping there head above the water so to speak. Yes they took on way to much debt from buying country wide bank. But they will be in a much better position when this bubble collapses in China. China is about to go thorough what the USA did with bad loans and mortgages and USA banks are heavily invested in China.

Wells Fargo is in my mind the best positioned bank to come out of 2008, But again with whats brewing in China how much are they involved???

(IMO) Sometimes I'm to the point, and sometimes I'm out in left field. JMHO
