The mighty financial wizards at the FED had the audacity to tell a sovereign nation 'you can have your gold but it'll take 7 freaking years before we can cover it' This from a country with more drones per capita of world population than any other - fodder - lol. They've used the full might of the 'owned media' to cement in peoples minds that the day of the metals is over.

Now we'll see how this pans out going forward - the hedgies have been massively short the miners and have sufficient free money to cap this pop which has been the modus operandi for a long time now. Interesting that silver was leading earlier, that's another different tale of supply and demand.
