The 10-K shows $11,669 in licensing fees booked in QE 3/31/13. This is likely the KORG settlement or possibly KORG and iriver. irviver settled last Q, but the dismissal following the settlement was not filed for nearly two months which may have allowed Fred to delay booking any income from it. Someone should ask Fred how many settlements are represented in that number.

Being that the consent judgment from Grundig was $10,250, we now know how little e.Digital is asking to reach settlements of their baseless infringement lawsuits. This could be considered indicia of extortion.

The costs of the patent litigation effort for the FYE 3/31/13 is booked at $284,857. With settlements in the $10,000 range, they will likely end up losing money.
