War, inflation , fear some unknown event could make it happen .

I don't think it will be war or inflation. I do expect some big financial mishap to turn things around. Countries are drowning in sovereign debt and the free money from the CBs has resulted in a lot of speculation. When the tides recedes, a lot of rot will be exposed. Think derivatives blowups. Or maybe credit defaults and banking problems. Things aren't exactly rosy out there. We get a 1.8% growth rate and the markets shoot to moon. Lower second quarter earnings should really cause the markets to explode higher.
