The psychology of Friday's buyers will also clue us in, I think.
For example, if on Monday morning there's no news and the buyers are still buying and letting the share price rise with reckless abandon, then surely they expect something to be coming right around the corner...like they're desperate or something.
On the other hand, if the buyers wait it out a bit looking for bargains created by the shorts, then I think it would be reasonable to assume that they are not in that much of a hurry and so maybe they don't know exactly when a partnership announcement will be made.
I think, Monday morning's stock action will TELL US A LOT! But I could be wrong...most often I am.
