looks like we did a lot of the same thing. I got most of my gold and silver from '85 to '87 in coins and still have all of them. I started buying silver eagles & bullion bars again in Dec. 2011 and my average is just under $17 an oz if I count just the silver I have.

Every gold mine I set up I'd go up to the blasting sites (with permission) or their stock pile by their primary crusher and bring home rocks 50 to 100 lbs and have them in an oval shaped garden outside my front door, about 16' x 8'. I have at least a few oz of gold in my garden. lol
