It almost seems like the dawn of the pc age to me. That's the stage we are in at the technical perspective.

Soon I envision 3d printers becoming like personal computers.. first they will show up in business industry and schools will start having them (like the old apple pc's)

Then as the technology get's refined more accurate more adaptable ect, soon it will become a thing every nerd has in the house. Then a few years later it will finally be accepted mainstream, every consumer will have on or have access to one locally.

It really is exiting stuff going forward, it has retirement written all over it.
