They dont need an instrument panel for the flyover of ZTEM. They use GPS and the readings from ZTEM would not register on an aircraft take off and landing dash. So yes your correct no panel on any aeroplane would be lite up to reveal MINERALs down below. I can see it now, hey pilot dashboard is flashing we just passed over a GOLD NUGGET about the size of an HOT ROD FORD. stop the PLANE stop the PLANE.
