HOLY COW!!!! HERE IT GOES....(techmanj reporting 12/16/05)

Most of you guys by now have seen my first post for that first store I called randomly.(It was one of the 10 added stores) I found out most of the 10 added stores are only 1 to 2 weeks old in offering Gameznflix." That Burlington, Mass store clerk told me they were getting 5 or 6 subs signing up PER SHIFT.

Okay, ready for the BIG BANG?

I started thinking. Wait, why am I only getting excited for one of the 10 added store doing well(5,6 subs per shift)? What if I found out the numbers for one of the 17 pilot stores which has been running for a month or two? So I call around. First few stores I couldn't get numbers of subs except on of the store clerk used "very popular" phrase, but still didn't know how many. Following is the conversation with the third store from which I got the definite sub number so far. (Keep in mind this is the first store from which I got the actual sub numbers.)

Circuit City - [phone] - 555 Maine Mall Rd, South Portland, ME - 5.66mi - map (guy clerk)

(I’ve already asked the same question “I’ve heard there’s a game rental service?” blah blah..I really don’t know what it is? ..routine.)

Cc: “yes, it’s called gameznflicks..blah blah blah..”(explains everything. Kind of like Netflix but also games..blah blah)

Techmanj: “Really, I never heard of that company. (okay, I lied) Is it popular?”

Cc: “Yes, it’s very popular right now.”

Techmanj: “Oh yea? How many people are signing up?” (I’m crossing my fingers waiting to hear the response)

Cc: “Well, let see, it’s only been only a month and a half since we offered it I think? ..and we already signed up about 1,000 people.”

Techmanj: !!!!!!!! (a little pause)“OH REALLY?..!!a THOUSAND??? ALREADY IN A MONTH AND A HALF? !!!!!!...uh…hmmm…..k.. uh..thanks…sounds good...I, I will check it out..uhHHH…!!!..k..bye..!!!!!!!!

Remember folks, this is a residual shared revenue for CC. If you were CC management would u cancel this National Rollout? …I DO NOT THINK SO……No wonder they already added 10 additional stores on top of 17 pilot stores! I say it’s in the bag folks! Let’s not even bother the current ups and downs for the time being. HOLY COW!!!!!!!(no I don’t worship cows)
