The student becomes the teacher! That is an excellent strategy!
If you have more shares you would break that up into like 10K - 20K blocks and sell in a range.. You first determine what you think will be the highest it will reach in a rally.. then you pick the range in which you want to sell arriving at the average you wanted originally by making that approach.. it also gives you the ability to change your course if you see happenings in the market or a PR comes out from the company.. If you sold all at once you lose that ability plus you cripple the stock like Koen did on Friday.. and don't get me wrong I'm not saying anything bad on Koen.. He has his own investment strategy and that is fine.
