So I am not saving money on cable then by buying this? That was the reason for my question,
I still need cable or satellite for NFL games, which means still got a cable bill - no MONTHLY bill savings here for consumer, this is still a great add on but SURE HOPE THEY HAVE HALF A DOZEN HDMI INPUTS!
An average household uses HDMI for Cable or satellite (still need it for NFL games), XBOX or other gaming system, BluRay Player, and a streaming device.....
That's FOUR HDMI inputs minimum and personally I have a need for two gaming systems on one TV and THREE on my game room TV.....
So SIX HDMI inputs??
But wait - I also need an HDMI converter box for LOCAL stations? So SEVEN HDMI inputs please!
I own some nice TV's and will be upgrading to 4k's soon, but NONE offer enough HDMI inputs for all these devices.
I was hoping NTEK had this TV game solved 100%, sounds like a "better" picture with another "device" to hook up though - but since it DOES seem to replace the functionality of my ROKU, and add that better picture - WHY NOT!
Just not gonna SAVE me $1,800 a year from a cable bill anymore than ROKU does since I need my Football :-/
Sorry for the games here but that cost savings comparison kinda looked like "false" advertising without the DETAILS.
Great company here though and I think it should be kept STRAIGHT on here going into this weeks run up to a modest PPS!
