it is never too late to change something that is wrong and always to early to stop listening to your conscience. there would still be bodybags coming back from vietnam if people had adopted the attitude of "oh, we're in it now, must stop listening to my conscience and wave the flag".

thank g-d america did NOT shut up despite the cries of treason etc being thrown at them so that countless mothers could be spared the pain of losing their sons.

in the interests of avoiding a foodfight i should add this applies to opinions on BOTH sides of the current issue. the only unamericanism i'm seeing out there is those people telling their fellow americans to shut up and tow the line.
