That makes sense but it sure is an odd way of doing it. In particular, in the links below you see complete lists for the Russell 1000, 2000, 3000 etc. for 2012. Yet for now, you have to subtract out the Russell 1000 members from the Russell 3000 members to arrive at the Russell 2000 members. All of this is simple spread sheet stuff for them, so I wonder why it isn't clearly stated.
