Not sure which is the big news item - maybe both - but what may be be a bigger negative for QCOM righ now is trouble with Vesper in Brazil. There was talk that if they don't get the licenses they want they may pull the plug which would result in a hefty writedown.

MIght be a good idea to wait until dust settles.
