Some questions to ponder:

Is the isolated molecule {or molecules] accounting for the flavor of strawberry patentable? Many years ago, the CCPA predecessor to CAFC said it was.

There are other examples that will be affected by this S.Ct. opinion. I can imagine the PTO in a tizzy at the moment, busy drafting new guidelines for examiners to follow.
