Very timely regulatory approval for MON insofar as it comes just in time for the 2013 growing season in Brazil and Argentina. Both countries had already approved MON’s Intacta soybeans for planting (#msg-55517002), and China’s approval for importation was the last remaining roadblock to commercialization.

Intacta, MON’s first-ever product developed specifically for a non-US country, will surely become one of MON’s major growth drivers during the next 5-10 years.
