no absolutely wrong, non test does not influence test accuracy at all. You cannot collect data on what you do not test. they did not throw out tests that didn't yield the desired results, they threw out tests that were untestable,suggesting this influence specificity or accuracy is ridiculous. and would never be acceptable in a research paper.

This is rather a concern of methodology
