Is there any way of determining if Alpine Securities is still selling TECO stock now, or buying it? This is a very interesting read regarding especially the time frame of December 2011 through February of 2012.
Interestingly the NFA states that on January 30, 2012 that Mr. Gwyn's fund was depleted partially if not completely because of risky investments to Reid companies. So he was looking for new investors to cover old client's calls to be paid. Also this Alpine Securities sent him payments of $44,000 and $12,000 right after that for sales of securities and a friend sent him more.
It appears that Mr. Gwyn would not disclose where the securities came from that were sold. Were these payments from TECO stock being sold during the Belize Oil non-strike? Is Alpine Securities still selling TECO stock for this group? These seem like a couple of good questions to get answers to next week from TECO management. These are my opinions and every investor should be doing thorough DD here with this stock. SmackDown
