regarding Rigs...
There is a poster here running himself in circles about a lot of nonsense.Recently he was under the false impression that BIGN hydroslotts its wells with specially equipped trucks. He was asking the board here and at rb for proof of the hydroslotter trucks!
Now this same poster(who might he be?lol)is asking how BIGN might be able to deliver on their plans to ramp up hydroslotting without their own "rigs",as in presumably drilling rigs.?
Allow me to explain something about Hydroslotting, for those in the dark who might actually be interested.
Hydroslotting while unique and new,and as a result patented, falls into a much more common and traditional oil field service known as well recompletion or well enhancement technology.
Well recompletion, and or well enhancement technologies and services are distinct from well drilling by the simple fact that that they are services performed after the well bore has been drilled, and most times cased and cemented. And drilling, casing,as well as cementing fall into the category of well completion.
Hydroslotting,on the other hand, along with other recompletion.and enhancement technologies, occurs only after a well has been completed.
Typically post completion oil field services such as fracture stimulation whether it be done by use of water or chemicals,as well as mud logs, flow tests, resrvoir analysis etc.,are performed by oil field services companies such as halliburton or Schlumberger.
Hydroslotter technology is a newer, more effective way to fracture stimulate a productive horizon without damaging the natural formation, and requires proprietary, specialized tools in order to be performed.
These tools need to be lowered domn into a recently completed,or formerly abandoned well bore, and used by properly trained oil field personnell in exactly the right productive interval of the well bore. Results are dependent on deployment in the right zone or location.
Hydroslotting might some day be a service offered by the likes of halliburton ,and or Schlumberger, but until it establishes itself as the de facto new standard, its implementation will require hiring a Halliburton or Schlumberger, and one of their well service rigs for its execution. And mention of Schlumberger was included in the most recent BIGN update on their Grimes effort.Hiring a well sevice workover rig and some of their employees is the biggest part of the projected costs that BIGN will incur on every well they slot.
Workover rigs are mobile and mounted on a truck. They are very common unlike drilling rigs, and much less expensive. It's not too much of a stretch to imagine that Hydroslotter will one day have a fleet of hydroslotter workover rigs,That of course would be paid for with proceeds from recently rejuvenated abandoned wells brought back to life through hydroslotting!
I hope that makes sense.
Good luck.I think we've managed to stumble upon a winner at an early stage. So early in fact that many here don't have a clue what this company promises.
All in my opinion.
