I think they realized that the day after the CC. Also keep in mind that while profit-sharing is generally a % of profits, other common sales bonuses/commission plans are pegged to each quarter's targets. In other words, Q3 would be extremely high, because they blew away guidance. Q4, with them running up against capacity, has much less chance of blowing out the guidance, and the baseline was probably reset higher.

Of course, all depends on details of the bonus/profit-sharing plan that don't seem to be available.
