OK. Siebel Systems is one of my core holdings, and my due diligence on that investment is ongoing. They reported on 4/18, and during the week of 4/15 to 4/21, there were 97 posts on their SI thread, some by long term sebl investors who understand their business model and others by people who work in the sector and are qualified to explain their technology. Virtually all of the news released during that period was linked to the thread, including notes and analysis following the earnings report and conference call. Having easy access to all of that information was invaluable to anyone trying to make a decision about holding sebl.

thoughts and or posts

On the stock specific threads, anything that might affect the valuation of the company to which it's dedicated is considered on topic, and threadmates aren't strangers for very long. Additionally, I doubt if many pay a fee for SI membership, since they have allowed members to award free lifetime memberships to friends twice in the last year.

I've never run into her, but I've only been on SI since 1995.
