Huh? The companies are complicit in ALL death spiral financing deals. They sign on the bottom line. If management doesn't know what'll happen next, they're too dumb to be running public companies. Usually, of course, they're not dumb at all. Management makes money, the financiers make money, and the shareholders lose money.
