Does anyone here know where I could find the formulas for crown molding miter/bevel settings? I already have the tables from places like Dewalt.com, but I'm interested in the math behind the tables. I've been dealing with some non-standard moldings that are neither the 38/52 degree, nor 45/45 degree "standards", and knowing the math behind the settings would allow me to create a spreadsheet for any iteration.

I admit, asking here is the lazy way out... I should dust off an old trig book and figure it out. However, I'm afraid that most of what I knew now lies in fragmented or bad brain sectors.
