TRCPA - According to Brian, QL's production line is currently working with 3 KDS's. My speculation based on a few pieces of information is that QL will likely add 1 more to the line in order to fully process all of the EFB's produced by the Tawau plantation. Given the CDMA certification and planting cycle, I would expect the order to happen sometime in the next 60 days if is going to happen this year.

As far as the QL Indonesian plantation goes, they will be reaching full palm date production by next year. In the mean time, they are either burning the EFB's or land filling them. I believe they will do something soon to implement a pellet system. Considering the scale of what would be needed, I also believe they will stagger their implementation. This would seem to follow how annual budgets are established for most businesses. All assumptions and guess work, of course. However, if this remotely follows what QL has planned, I would think they would already have a implementation plan which would also include how many KDS's would be purchased and over what timeframe. The only evidence we are likely to get of this may first come in the form of planned capital purchases in QL's annual financials. Who knows? They may actually publish more details in the reports or discuss it more fully with analysts.

In the mean time, I am looking for something to be known soon about the single KDS for Tawau.
