I agree that fracking water is a cocktail of many different things, and each site is different (and thus the issue is fairly complex to clean), however this also leads to the flip side that if one technology can conquer a wider spectrum then it's adoption would be much more widespread in this booming market. I'm not suggesting here that OOIL's technology is that YET, but they are approaching it from a different angle than the traditional chemical on chemical process (Clean-frac is chemical free), they are showing high success rate in the stuff they are 'cleaning', be it frac water, cesium contaminated water, high ammonia level aquaculture water. These are broad ranging contaminants and this is a 'green'and cheap solution. Whilst i agree with your intial point that decontaminants come in many forms, and i would like to see more test results, algae does seems to be doing a fairly good job in cleaning up alot of them. The widespread antibiotic of decontamination lol
