ajtj, what that writer is not taking into account, and it is a very big mistake, is the ballooning balance of payment deficit, that is where the dollar is going to be impacted, not directly by the budget deficit. That is also why I have turned bullish on gold since the monthly balance of payment deficits have exceeded $40 B monthly (I have written about that for quite some time).
