My guess is because the person you are targeting could take it personal.

You are kind of like a bludgeon at times, Vex. Blunt force trauma.

I understand you and can easily side-step what you don't see in yourself.

I am not offended because I know you are genuine in your outlook and beliefs.

Others may not be so "prepared"...
