I love the cherry best, too. Love that cherry pit (they call it skin but to me it always tasted like when you suck on the pit) flavor. The beer store here always has the raspberry and it's not that great. Cloying, but it's the popular one. I wonder how many makers of the stuff there are out there.

Have you had Duval? Talk about a beer that's like eating a meal. It's for drinking and appreciating and not to eat with. I'm happy that the first time I had it was in Holland in a cool as heck beer house. The people there were so much fun to drink with.

On a lighter note, I really like Leffe Blonde. Love the yeasty flavor. It's one of those beers that has a sort of jasmine flavor. I don't know why I never hear anybody describe this particular floral taste from the kind of hopps (I believe) as jasmine because it is exactly like that to me and once you detect it it's so obvious. But I used to drink a lot of jasmine tea so maybe that's why it's so distinctive. Come to think of it, why did I stop drinking jasmine tea?
