In Florida, it is 175 Days. The "new" trial date is well beyond that. Were it delayed until then without permission of Barnett, he could petition for dismissal after 175 days and that dismissal would likely be granted.

As bad as the Florida DA's are, I don't think they are that bad.

I have no humble opinions, but I do have opinions and those are what I express in my posts. BUT...I have been wrong before and likely will be wrong again so do your own research and don't blame me if you are too lazy to do so.
