MS did not run from the $1.7 million. Q was supposed to fund MS . It stopped suddenly and without notice, leaving MS in deep trouble. What part of this do you not understand? Do you not think Q has any responsibility for this or do you think it is OK to break its funding agreement with MS and not suffer any penalty for that whatsoever? That would be ureal and unheard of. On the Owens shares, it seems to me that MS would have purchased those 7.5 million shares if it could. It would have been the simplest solution. MS hadto make sure Owens owned the shares before it bought them. What part of that do you not understand? The documents are out there for all to read. Owens could not show he had paid for the shares and so could not show he owned them. IMO MS agreed to do the deal, on the basis that Owens coould prove title to the shares. He could not. It would have been mad for MS to buy the shares under those circumstances. Pretty simple stuff really.
