MMs do not hold a lot of shares. They are in competition with each other. They are never in for the long hall. They don't care about the company, only their profit. They could just as easily get hurt as any stockholder, if they were to hold a lot of shares. They do sometimes hold some and they will short on the way down. Just my opinion.
