'demarco keeps asking for congress to take action. why? it is upto him to end c-ship. yes, sole power. '

does he have the authority to terminate c-ship? what about having authority to transfer the assets of fnf and the 5T to set up a new entity? i rather think not. everything i read seem to imply that requires congressional activity. what if congress acts, and demarco says screw you, we're going my way?

further down the road, what is the best position demarco can take. beg congress to do nothing so he can keep running things, or beg them to get off their duffs and fix, fix, fix? then when they do not fix, demarco goes about doing what he wants, and every time congress says something, demarco says please come in and fix.

demarco is taking full advantage of the situation, an doing the best he can to fix fnf. quit counting trees, and look at the forest. demarco has them between a rock, a hard place. his biggest assets are aie, tea party, and the constipated congress that accomplishes nothing. they accomplish nothing, so he just goes about his business, doing what he thinks is best, with no bells and whistles.
