Sorry to take so long in clarifying but you are incorrect again, the Dec 2011 award was given by Communications Technology Magazine for digital headend equipment only. Not by the entire industry. And not just "reported in a magazine". They were again nominated in 2012 for the cloud software category against motorola, and since there was no announcement guess who won that one? See page 18 of the Oct '12 Magazine, yup, Motorola won. The "industry" says Telvue is NOT the best. Also Harmonic Inc won the category for digital headend equip. But don't get excited over the nominations, you nominate yourself and pay a fee. Anyway maybe that was the beginning of the downfall, seems to be coinciding with other actions.

website is for below "quotes"

How are the entries judged?
Technology entries are judged by a panel of engineers and industry professionals as well as by the staff of Communications Technology magazine. We evaluate your entry based on innovation, capex/opex, return on investment, environmental impact (if applicable), customer/company acceptance and uptake, and best in class. Vendors are compared with vendors, and operators are compared with operators.

Is this awards program affiliated with any industry organizations?
The Communications Technology Platinum Awards is an independent competition unaffiliated with any industry organization. Your entries are held in strict confidence by the judges and Communications Technology.

Thats 2011 since their last so called award, what since.....cricket cricket cricket
