Above is the Gold COT (the numbers represent shorts for
Commercials) and the percent box represent the percent above or
below its 200 day moving average.
The last time the Commercials held less than 100K shorts was back
at the 2008 low. also notice that the percent Gold was below its
200 day moving average came at the 2008 low and the 2013 low.

Also notice that Slow Stochastics has hit below 20 at major lows
and has done so again at the April low.
There could be a test of the “Selling Climax” low of April near
1325 before the bulk of the rally begins and that would be our
worst case scenario.

Long NG at 5.14 on 10/8/12.
We will hold as our core position in AUQ; because
in the longer term view these issues will head much higher.
